Psalms Finance (“we,” “us,” or “our”) may obtain certain confidential or nonpublic information about you in the course of our business. We endeavour to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and to respect the privacy of our clients and associated persons, and other individuals whose personal information we collect and process. Our commitment to privacy includes being transparent about the nature and extent of that processing.

The Personal Information we collect comes from loan applications or other materials submitted to or obtained by Psalms Finance during the course of our relationship with you. You are not required to supply any of the Personal Information that we may request. However, failure to do so may result in our being unable to provide services to you.

Our collection, use, and disclosure policies

Tags, Pixels, Web Beacons, Clear GIFs

We use interest-based advertising to deliver advertisements and other targeted content to you, including through third-party advertising companies which we may permit to track your visits to the sites. They may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may also use persistent identifiers to track your Internet usage across other websites and devices in their networks beyond the sites. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based advertising or other targeted content.

If you choose to opt-out via web-based tools, a cookie will be placed on your browser indicating your decision. This cookie is specific to a particular device and browser, so if you use different browsers or devices, you will need to opt out of each. In addition, because the opt-out is facilitated via cookies, if you clear your cookies you will need to opt out again.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell any of your Personal Information, including your name, mailing address or email address, to any companies.

Psalms Finance also does not disclose your Personal Information to third parties, except as described in this policy. Third-party disclosures may include sharing such information with non-affiliated companies that perform support services for your account or facilitate your transactions with Psalms Finance, including those that provide professional, legal or accounting advice to Psalms Finance. Your Choices

Psalms Finance will review any request for access to or deletion of your Personal Information, and/or correct or amend any of the Personal Information you have provided to us, but Psalms Finance reserves the right to deny such requests as allowed by law. We will not treat you any differently should you request access to or deletion of your personal information.

We will let you know if your request is denied. Access can be denied when, for example: giving one person access would compromise another’s privacy rights; disclosure is likely to interfere with the safeguarding of national security, defence, or public security; or disclosure could interfere with law enforcement or legal actions. These are only examples, and access may be denied in other situations in compliance with applicable laws.

Retention of Data

We will keep your Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which Personal Information is collected as stated herein; for as long as is necessary to comply with our contractual obligations; and to comply with legal and statutory obligations, such as in tax, trade and corporate laws.

Security of Data

Psalms Finance will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information in our possession from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. For example, we use security measures including safeguarding and monitoring our network and controlling access to our files, equipment, and buildings. We also engage in efforts to train our personnel on data security issues.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our information practices or legal requirements. If we make material changes to this policy, we will let you know by appropriate means, such as posting the revised policy on this page with a new effective date. The revised policy will become effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your use of the website following these changes means that you accept the revised policy. This version of the policy is effective as of January 1, 2020.
